November 14th

Three Thirty in the morning and can't sleep listening to the wind and rain battering against the window which is actually quite nice unless you have the misfortune to actually be out there in it of course........
Spent a bit of time browsing on here and mulling over what i want to feature next and decided it would be nice to do one on artificial light
Will run with this untill the last week of December then do my best pics of 2009 to finish the year off.

November 8th

Updated with a few more pics this morning.

A Funny and slightly embarrassing story.

Almost sleepless night thursday tossing and turning trying to set the world to rights.
Dragged myself into work friday and worked untill one o clock in the afternoon.
Came home and fell asleep on the couch around 3 o clock watching a film cos i was so tired.
Woke up with a start looked at my watch ...... seven thirty .....shit i've got to be at work in half an hour,mad panic as im the only one in on a saturday morning and i have to open the building up....ten mins and im out the front door and on my way.
Drove to work in a rush and im on the motorway watching fireworks going off in the distance thinking to myself who the hell is setting off fireworks at this time of the morning?
Got to work just on time and then head for the security building to clock in and grab the stores keys.

Security guard.
What you doing here?

Me.
Im always here on saturday i've come for the keys to open up stores

Security guard.
(Bemused look) It's Friday mate

Blank stare and then five mins of embarresed explaining.

My body clock really does get messed up this time of year if i get reincarnated i would very much like to come back as a bear.



November 4th

Not much to report here been really busy at work and not really had time for much photography the last few weeks,change in daylight hours knocked me for six for a while and i am only just starting to adjust.
November the 9th marks the aniversary of the fall of the berlin wall,i have been lucky enough to visit this wonderful city on two occasions so have a certain attachment,a friend of mine lived on the eastern side of the wall and even when i was there six years ago you could really see the difference between the east west divide and the massive changes that were taking place all around the city.
So with this in mind this months feature will be about walls, boundaries and other things that divide the human race and also there wonderful ability to fight back and smash them down.

The song is Heroes by David Bowie who spent much of his time there during the period before the wall fell and recorded the album this song was on whilst there.
